All course related questions need to be either discussed in office hours or posted on the discussion board. You can reach out to dsmodule@wqu.edu for all questions related to admissions and logistics of the course, but you will not receive help on miniproject questions.
Yes. We must collect applications for all students as it they are used for processing your enrollment. If you complete Unit I you are guaranteed acceptance into Unit II.
No. At this time we are only admitting students to Unit II upon completion of Unit I.
If you are receiving a 'NameError', you must run the cell containing 'from static_grader import grader'. For other error messages, please refer to the introductory video for your unit, which discusses how the grader works and how to interpret error messages.
We recommend that you create copies of your notebooks before making notes or modifications when working through lectures or the miniprojects. However, if you failed to create a copy and then accidentally deleted material, you can get a new copy by referring to these instructions.
You can download the material by following these instructions. Note that you will need to install Jupyter on your device in order to run the notebooks. We recommend installing Jupyter as part of the Anaconda distribution of Python.
Occasionally your server may stop unexpectedly. Our system is designed to automatically recover from such failures. Recovery of your server may take 10-60 minutes, after which you should be able to start your server. If you still cannot access your server after 2 hours, please send an email to dsmodule@wqu.edu.
You must achieve a score greater than 0 for every question in every miniproject.
